Manage Category


The Manage Category feature is used to define broad classifications for the services your business offers. Categories help organize items logically and improve reporting clarity.

Steps to Add a New Category:

  1. Navigate to Manage Category from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the Add New button.

  3. Enter the Category Name (e.g., "Haircut").

  4. Click Save to create the category.

Edit or Disable a Category:

  • To edit a category, click the Edit icon next to it, update the name, and click Update.

  • To enable or disable a category, use the toggle button. This helps hide categories without deleting them.

  • Disable is available only if the category is not linked to any active items.

Categories linked to existing items cannot be disabled directly. You must first unlink or remove the items.

Tip: Use clear and simple names for categories to make them easy to identify during item creation and billing.
