Manage Item


The Manage Item section allows you to define the individual services your business offers to customers. Each item must include key details such as pricing, tax settings, and classification for accurate billing and reporting.

Fields to Fill:

  • Item Code: A unique identifier for the item (e.g., HC001).

  • Item Name: The name of the service or product.

  • Item Description

  • Price: The service rate.

  • Tax Group: Applicable tax group (used if GST is enabled).

  • Category: The main category the item falls under.

  • Item Group: An item group for better organization.

  • Status: Set as Enabled or Disabled to control item availability.

Steps to Add a New Item:

  1. Navigate to Manage Item from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the Add New button.

  3. Enter the required details:

    • Item Code

    • Item Name

    • Item description

    • Price

    • Tax Group (if GST is enabled)

    • Category

    • Item Group

  4. Set the Status to Enabled if you want the item to be active for billing.

  5. Click Save to complete.

Note: The Item Code must be unique. It helps with easy identification and future integration.
